HR also concerns itself with organizational change and industrial relations, that is, the balancing of organizational practices with requirements arising from collective bargaining and from governmental laws

Am I Eligible?
To be eligible for the aPHRi you must have a high school diploma or global equivalent.
This is desirable for young graduates, career changers who are planning to switch their career to human resources management.
No HR experience is required since this is a knowledge-based credential.
What Is the Exam Format & Length?
- Exam time: 2 hours and 15 minutes
- Exam length: 100 scored questions (mostly multiple-choice) + 25 pretest questions
- Computer-based exam at a Pearson VUE testing center
How Much Does the aPHRi Cost?
Exam Fee: $300* + Application Fee: $100
* Once an exam application is approved, no refunds will be made whether a candidate withdraws or nol longer wishes to take the exam.
When Can I Take the Exam?
Effective May 1, 2018, testing for the aPHRi will be available year-round, subject to test center availability.
How Do I Prepare?
You are encouraged to use a variety of study methods to prepare for the aPHRi exam. All HRCI credentials are designed to meet accreditation standards. As a result, HRCI does not endorse any particular preparation resource.
